How it all began

Tony and Angie's story began at a wedding — his brother's — where Angie stood as a maid of honor and Tony as the best man. Somewhere between the music, the laughter, and dancing late into the night,

Something quietly clicked.

Distance soon tested their connection, but never their commitment. Across borders and countless miles, they chose each other again and again — turning long journeys into cherished reunions. With every visit, their love grew deeper, stronger, and clearer.

This was forever.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I RSVP by? +

Please send us your RSVP no later than June 30th, 2026. This helps us finalize seating, catering, and transportation arrangements. We'd hate to miss you, so please don't forget to reply!

What is the dress code? +

We kindly request formal attire. Think floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for women, and suits or tuxedos for men. We'd love everyone to look their finest for this special occasion. Please avoid white or ivory out of respect for the bride.

Is there parking at the venue? +

Yes! La Mira has on-site parking available for guests. If you are driving to the venue, simply let the attendant know you are there for Angie and Tony's wedding and they will direct you to the designated parking area.

Will transportation be provided for out of town guests? +

Absolutely. We are arranging complimentary shuttle service for our out of town guests from a central Quito location to La Mira and back after the reception. Full pickup details, times, and the exact meeting point will be shared via email once you RSVP. Please be sure to indicate in your RSVP that you'll need a shuttle.

Are children welcome? +

We love your little ones! However, to allow all guests — including parents — to fully enjoy the evening, this is an adults-only celebration (18+). We appreciate your understanding and hope you can arrange childcare for the evening so you can dance the night away with us!

What is the best way to get to Quito? +

Quito is served by Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO). Several airlines offer direct and connecting flights from major international hubs in the US, Europe, and Latin America. We recommend arriving at least a day before the wedding to rest and adjust to the altitude (~2,800m / 9,200ft). Quito's altitude is worth noting — take it easy your first day!

What is the weather like in Ecuador in August? +

August is part of Quito's dry season — perfect timing! Expect mild temperatures between 15–22°C (59–72°F) with clear, sunny days. Evenings can be cooler, especially at altitude, so we recommend a light wrap or jacket for the journey home after the reception.

How do I get around Quito? +

Getting around Quito is easy and affordable. We recommend three options: Uber is the most convenient — just download the app and it works seamlessly throughout the city. Taxis are widely available; always use official yellow cabs or ask your hotel to call one for you. The Metro is a great option for longer distances across the city and is clean, safe, and very affordable. We recommend sticking to these three options for the most comfortable and hassle-free experience.
